After a stimulating day at Traffic & Transport 2009, we offer you a chance to relax and savour the best that Vienna has to offer. Various activities match every taste and ambition, as well as an opportunity to connect with other participants.
Numbers are limited, so reserve early! After 13 August 2009 we cannot guarantee that requests will be met. More than one reservation is possible if the person/people you are travelling with would also like to join. Reservations can be made along with registration of the event (see Traffic & Transportation registration form). Costs must be paid for in advance, please include with your registration fee.
Each event will occur if enough individuals are interested in participating.


Boat Cruise on the Danube to Bratislava
 
Ships ahoy on the Twin City Liner, a fast katamaran travelling on the Danube from Vienna city center to Bratislava city center in just 75 minutes. Departing at 19:00 and arriving at 20:15 in Bratislava, the capital city of Slovakia, for a tour around the city. Leaving Bratislava at 22:30, we arrive back in Vienna at 24:00 with enough time to sleep before the next eventful day! On board, freshly prepared cold snacks, drinks and souvenirs are available at a reasonable price. If you would like a hot dinner, you must order in advance.

Biking 'Round the Ring’  
Using „Citybike’s“, a cycling trip around Vienna following the Ring-Rund-Radweg, the city’s most beloved bike path. Circling around the inner city, stops will be made along the way to admire notable sights, ending with dinner. The maximum duration of the bike ride is 2 hours.
