The effectiveness of public transport often depends on how long it takes to change between different
modes of transport. This can become even more critical when it comes to transferring from long- to
short-distance transport networks and vice versa. If "inter-connectivity" between transport networks is
to be enhanced, measures focusing on improving "INFOconnectivity" between transport networks and
their customers are indispensable.Highest possible effects in accelerating passenger transfers may be
expected by introducing the concept of "intertwined information" of and between transport networks.
